The annual knitwear and craft show will be held this year from October 22 to 25 at Maison Jésus-Marie. If the trend continues, the event should be held in the lobby. In addition to the tuques, scarves, mittens and other knitted items, there will be a few new items this year.
Ceramic pieces donated by a Cercle des fermières will be added to other works of art, including Christmas ornaments made by children and Christmas wreaths from various sources.
This activity has been organized for many years at Maison Jésus-Marie. It coincides with Mission Sunday. It allows us to present an incredible quantity of articles produced by about thirty sisters and lay people who demonstrate, year after year, their talent.
Proceeds from the sale of the items are used to purchase materials for next year’s production and to make donations to community organizations. The rest of the items are distributed to Lesotho, Dr. Julien Foundation and other organizations, including L’Entraide chez nous and an organization helping homeless. Please note that all visitors will be required to comply with current regulations by presenting their vaccination passport and identification.
