Remembrance Day

A Moment of Reflection and Gratitude

The most meaningful moment of this day is undoubtedly the two minutes of silence observed at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. This symbolic pause marks the exact time the First World War came to an end in 1918.

Remembrance Day invites us to honor all those who gave their lives in service, as well as those who continue to serve to protect the values we hold dear.

It is also a time to reflect on the importance of peace and our shared responsibility to uphold it, both near and far.

“We will remember them.”
